Seventeen
May 1997
In the May 1997 issue of Seventeen, Daria was in the article about "firestarters - check out who's gonna heat up the big screen, rule the tube and sell loads of CDs." Here's what it says:

What she's about: After moving to a new town, this brainy 16-year old disvoered that dumb jocks and airheads are indeed universal. But no way will Daria change herself to fit in. Her rule: "Don't play dumb - there are too many people in high school who are much better at it than you are." She counts among her heroines Tori Spelling, who "worked her way up from nothing." Oh, the irony.

What she's up to: starring in her own MTV series, Daria, on Monday nights.
